Earlier today, Nintendo announced on the Business Wire website that they are planning to release a Mario Kart 8 Wii U Bundle in North America on May 30th. This package is expected to retail for $329.99 and will include a Wii U Deluxe system, Mario Kart 8 , a red Mario Wii Wheel controller, and a red Mario Wii Remote Plus controller. In addition to this news, Nintendo also revealed that every fan who purchases Mario Kart 8 and registers the game with Club Nintendo before July 31 st will be eligible to receive an eShop download code for one of four different games. These notable titles include New Super Mario Bros. U , Pikmin 3 , The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD , and Wii Party U . Customers who decide to buy the Mario Kart 8 bundle will also be eligible for this deal.
Mario Kart 8 is easily the second most anticipated Nintendo release out this year next to Super Smash Bros . Hopefully this game will do well enough and start to get fans excited for the future of the brand all over again.
