Seeing Capcom’s cast of fighters go up against Marvel’s long list of superheroes is enjoyable to watch and ludicrous to play. As long as you can appreciate gigantic screen-sized death beams, you can appreciate this long-standing series of fighting games. However, the Versus series wasn’t always about TAC infinites, X-Factor comebacks, and the incredible broken-ness of Wesker and Zero. There was a time when it was all about Mega Man, Jin Saotome, and Captain Commando. Now, Capcom is letting you relive those arcade glory days with Marvel vs. Capcom Origins, a downloadable combo pack of two classic Versus series games. 
Capcom has a long history of re-releasing their classic fighters on the downloadable market. Downloadable versions of Marvel 2 and Street Fighter III: Third Strike have helped to resurrect the scenes for these classic games.
