Matchmaking Available in Halo: Reach’s Campaign

Matchmaking Available in Halo: Reach’s Campaign

None

One of the biggest oversights in Halo 3: ODST was not including a matchmaking feature in the game’s Firefight mode. Having realized this mistake, Bungie stated they wouldn’t repeat it in Halo: Reach. However, with Reach’s campaign supporting up to four player co-op, a matchmaking feature would seem to make sense there as well. Apparently, Bungie agrees according to the weekly update on their official website.

In one section of this update they were answering questions, with the fourth one reading “Can I haz Campaign Matchmaking?” The response was a simple “yes.” As part of this update, a number of nameplate emblems were also shown off. These emblems are all unlocked by completing various Bungie related tasks, such as having played Halo 2 online on your current Xbox Live account and playing the full version of Marathon on XBLA. Halo: Reach will be coming out September 14, so if you want to unlock some of these nameplates before you get the game, best get cracking.
