According to an analyst at Wedbush Morgan Securities, an SEC filing by Activision states the company plans on releasing the Metallica specific title in their fiscal year of 2009. Here’s a direct quote taken from the report from the report by Gamespot: “In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms.”
