Probably in celebration of the release of the highly anticipated Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Nintendo is bringing a ton of Metroids our way in the month of August. First, there is a preview channel for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption on the Wii Ware channel. Nintendo also has plans to release both Metroid and Super Metroid on the Virtual Console this month. Metroid, the highly acclaimed NES title that pioneered adventure/exploration games, will be released on August 13, while Super Metroid, an SNES title considered by many gamers to be one of the best games of all times, will be released on August 20.
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption will be released for the Wii on August 27. Be sure to check for our review of this title when it releases.
