Though we knew that Minecraft was going to come to Xbox LIVE quite some time ago, Microsoft has only recently confirmed its actual release date. The popular world-building indie game will be available to download on May 9th, 2012 and will cost 1600 Microsoft points ($20). This is about four dollars cheaper than the full version of Minecraft on the PC. Unfortunately, the Xbox 360 version will not have anywhere near as many features as the PC version. So the drop in price is understandable.
