Microsoft Made a Ford GT Forza 6 Xbox One Controller

Microsoft Made a Ford GT Forza 6 Xbox One Controller

Sometimes, companies like to make prototype consoles, controllers, games, and peripherals for fun. I mean, if you had the technical know-how to do such things, you likely would too. It turns out Microsoft made one of these concept Xbox One controllers in honor of Forza Motorsport 6 and decided to share the results with the internet. Why? Maybe to show us something cool we can’t have.

The Forza 6 Xbox One controller is inspired by the Ford GT, the car that’s the “main” car for this entry. You know how it is. One vehicle is always the highlight and cover model. To honor the car, the controller has an analog stick that looks like its steering wheel and triggers that look like gas and break pedals.

There are other physical details reminiscent of the Ford GT. It’s the same shade of blue as the car. Also, it has a see-through battery case, which is supposed to call to mind the car’s engine compartment. I’m not sure I get that part, but okay. It’s a generally cool concept controller.

Which unfortunately will never be available anywhere. But, at least we can always play Forza 6 on the Xbox One. It’s available right now.
