Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune has been doing much more than just Kickstarting Mighty No. 9 . He and his company Comcept are also working with Armature Games to develop a new Xbox One exclusive called Recore , which was revealed at today’s Microsoft press conference.
Recore appears to be a third-person shooter or action adventure game starring a young woman and her robot friend. The title comes from the robot, which is essentially a core that can be slotted into different bodies. The robot began as an adorable robo-doggie, but then self-destructed in order to save its master. She then took the remaining core and inserted it into a decidedly less adorable giant robot body.
Recore will be an Xbox One exclusive, but no release date has been announced yet.
