On the PlayStation blog, Mirror’s Edge producer Tom Farrer announced that a free, PS3-exclusive Time Trial map. Known as “Synethesia,” the level was inspired by balloons. As a precursor to the Pure Time Trial Map Pack release, PS3 owners will be given a level for free that teases the wacky, city-free Time Trial levels featured in the upcoming DLC. Below you’ll find a video that highlights what you can expect from the content. According to Tom Farrer, the basic theme encompasses, “If Faith was having a dream, what would she be dreaming about?”:
