During a livestream on Twitch, key members of Naughty Dog staff revealed a wealth of details regarding the multiplayer mode in the upcoming PS4 title, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
For starters, the game’s sidekick system was detailed. Since the PS4 allows the team to do more with enemy AI, players will get sidekicks that act on their behalf. The sidekick’s actions will reward their respective players with cash for them to spend on in-game upgrades.
There will also be customization options such as outfits, hats and taunts. The taunts will also have props to make them stand out a bit from what is typically seen in other games.
The beta for the game goes live on December 4 and will run through December 13th. The beta will have its own unique currency that will allow players to upgrade their characters. Naughty Dog states that this beta has a lot of content, more than is often seen in a game’s beta.
