The next installment in 2K’s annual NBA franchise, 2K12 will be represented by not one, but three past NBA all-stars. Michael Jordan is back, and he’s brought with him Magic Johnson and Larry Bird. All three stars will be getting their own cover. While discussing the decision to bring three renowned figures from the NBA, 2K Sports’ VP of Marketing Jason Argent said “We wanted to bring Michael Jordan back, but even if we wanted to do something different, I don’t think we could have. So our goal was bringing Michael Jordan back, but then, how do you take it up a notch?” 
On top of that, even gamers who might not necessarily be interested in the NBA franchise will have no choice but to stop and stare at the eye-grabbing box art. |
