While anyone paying attention to the news over the past month or so has probably seen this coming, EA officially announced that NBA Jam will no longer be a Wii exclusive. However, before PS3 and Xbox 360 owners get too excited, there are a couple slight catches. The version of NBA Jam coming to these consoles may not be the complete game, and you’ll have to purchase NBA Elite 11 in order to get it.  In a press release, EA announced that NBA Elite 11would include a download code for NBA Jam that would give players access to three different modes. The included modes are Play Now, Classic Campaign, and Online. The wording seems odd, almost implying there will be modes intentionally left out of this downloadable version of the game. Whatever the case, at least they have finally given up the facade that the game was still a Wii exclusive. |
