Last week we reported on a possible Call of Duty reveal next month . A poster popped up with the text “Return for Debriefing” and the date 05.02.12 on it. Well, a new announcement by Activision has complicated this Black Ops 2 theory. According to a tease on the official Call of Duty site, a new Call of Duty world reveal will take place during the NBA Playoffs on TNT, May 1st, 2011.

Right now, our best theory is that the game will be revealed during the playoffs, but the only information we will receive is a teaser trailer. The full storm of info, videos, details, and more will probably come the day after, as advertised by the poster.



Internet-savvy NeoGAF users have found even more evidence for Black Ops 2’s existence through the source code of the official Activision teaser page. Supposedly, the code contains the following text: “2012 Activision Publishing, Inc. Activision and Call of Duty are registered trademarks and Black Ops is a trademark of Activision Publishing, Inc. All other trademarks and trade names are the properties of their respective owners.” If that doesn’t point toward some new Black Ops game, then I don’t know what does.
