New Game Mode Revealed in Kirby Planet Robobot

New Game Mode Revealed in Kirby Planet Robobot

In what was probably the most exciting part of the latest Nintendo Direct, translator extraordinaire and marketing manager at Treehouse, Bill Trinen, unveiled the latest Kirby game destined for the 3DS: Kirby: Planet Robobot . Other than Kirby being somehow incredibly adorable and badass at the same time, the game seems like a fantastic value. Regularly priced at $40, Planet Robobot will take you through an imaginative new campaign during which you’ll absorb and use all kinds of new powers and pilot new, Mega Man X- like mech armor. The game will make use of every amiibo in one way or another, and in addition to the story mode you’ll also be able to play Team Kirby Clash . This is an action mode with some RPG elements where you’ll pick a certain Kirby class and team up with 3 other Kirbys (online or CPU) to take down some iconic Kirby bosses.

Nintendo revealed a new game mode yesterday in its Japanese overview trailer (which I’ll link below). We’ve learned through a press release that this new mode will be called Kirby 3D Rumble . It’s a single-player “isometric action-puzzler which tasks our hero with sucking up objects or enemies and eliminating all foes in as few moves as possible.” Both additional game modes can be seen in action in the trailer below. What do you guys think? This is a day-one purchase for me.
