Epic Games and Del Rey announced today that Gears of War will be getting a trilogy of novels based on the game’s universe and epic storyline. The first novel will be titled The Battle of Aspho Fields and will be written by Karen Traviss. The book will go on sale October 28, 2008. That’s ten full days before GoW 2 releases for 360 on November 7, 2008.
