Take that! A brand new adventure in the Phoenix Wright series is on the way, and this time Phoenix is facing his greatest challenge yet: a court system that doesn’t use lawyers. You heard me correctly. Players will find themselves in the beautiful and mysterious kingdom of Khura’in, where Phoenix will attempt to secure a verdict of ‘not guilty” for his clients in the “Court of Resignation.” This will prove challenging as the premier trailer introduces a new character: Rayfa Padma Khura’in, a royal priestess capable of diving into the spirit realm to sense the victim’s final moments.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice will also star Apollo Justice and players will be happy to see many familiar faces from entries past make a return. We will of course be doing the same kind of snooping, listening, pressing, objecting, and evidence collecting that we’re used to, but Capcom promises some new twists on the familiar formula. We’ll find out more in the near future, but for now we can look forward to Spirit of Justice making its way to the 3DS eShop (digital only) this September. Check out the trailer right here:
