Rocket League was a breakout indie hit by developer Psyonix. Offered for free to PS Plus members, the game quickly amassed a large install base and spurned a competitive league. Come December, players will be able to enhance their game further with a post-apocalyptic themed DLC pack.
Entitled the Chaos Run DLC Pack, the download will offer two cars called Ripper and Grog, a new arena called The Wasteland, and a host of customization options for previously available cars. This pack seems sure to appeal to fans of the recently released movie, Max Max: Fury Road, and fans coming down from the release of Fallout 4.
Rocket League is a soccer style game that puts players into cars, and allows them to jump and boost through the arena after a ball in frenetic, physics based gameplay. A post-apocalyptic theme seems like a perfect fit for this kind of ridiculous, over-the-top gameplay.
