Yesterday, Nintendo confirmed that it will be showing off a brand new Super Mario Bros. title for the Wii U at this year’s E3. This information originally cropped up in an interview Shigeru Miyamoto had with Spanish newspaper El Mundo , but it since has been confirmed by Nintendo. The game is the very one we already saw teased in the Super Mario Bros. tech demo from last year’s E3. This tech demo showed how several different players could control a Wii U game at the same time. It introduced Mii support into a New Super Mario Bros. style stage, but other than that, the gameplay was pretty traditional for a 2D Mario game.
