Nintendo Details E3 Livestream Events for Fans

Nintendo Details E3 Livestream Events for Fans

With 2014’s E3 happening next week on Tuesday, June 10 through Thursday, June 12, related news on the matter has escalated due to more information leading up to the annual event being revealed/teased/leaked/rumored (some of them only breadcrumbs to some big announcement that will be taking place at the event however).

A lot of bigwig publishers and developers will be having their say at the event, and Nintendo will be no different. Once E3 starts next week, the company will be hosting four large events that will deliver “real-time fun” to its fans.

As detailed in a press release published on Wednesday, June 4, on the first day of the event (June 10), Nintendo will livestream its Nintendo Digital Event at 9am Pacific Time via the company’s dedicated E3 2014 page . Once the Digital Event begins, you may look forward to breaking news regarding the Wii U and 3DS for the remainder of 2014 and beyond.

Immediately after the Digital Event, the company’s Nintendo Minute: Live @ E3 will offer you post-show recaps with additional information.

Later on in the same day, Nintendo will also host the Super Smash Bros. Invitational Wii U tournament, where 16 players will duke it out for fun and glory. The tournament will be viewable via Nintendo’s official Twitch channel .

Finally, the Nintendo Treehouse: Live @ E3 will be your place to go should you want constant coverage of E3 as it goes on. During all hours of the event (excluding the Super Smash Bros. tournament), members of Nintendo’s Treehouse will livestream exclusive demos from the company’s show floor booth. In addition to these demos, Nintendo will also deliver the latest game reveals and provide visits from developers such as Shigeru Miyamoto. Nintendo Treehouse: Live @ E3 will also be streamed via Nintendo’s Twitch channel.

Be sure to check out Nintendo’s official site for further details on its plans for E3. Since you here, why not also check out a small trailer for the Super Smash Bros. Invitational? The video’s embedded below.
