Yesterday, Black Tusk Studios Developer Jack Felling confirmed over Twitter that the next Gears of War game will be an Xbox One exclusive and therefore won’t be coming to the Xbox 360. While this news has been made official, it’s currently unclear if the game will ever come to the PC as part of Microsoft’s new Windows 10 gaming initiative.
Both Microsoft and Black Tusk Studios have released very little details on what we can all expect from the next installment in the series. All of this is likely to change though by E3 2015 as both fans and critics alike are expecting some type of teaser at the annual Xbox media briefing.
I personally think that this news is great because Microsoft needs to start convincing people that they need to buy an Xbox One. Hopefully this game also skips a PC release so consumers won’t be tempted to buy that version instead of its console counterpart
