Nintendo Expands Its Selects Line in North America

Nintendo Expands Its Selects Line in North America

Nintendo is celebrating the back-to-school season by tempting the studious and lazy alike with cheap video games. Nintendo has chosen four new 3DS games to add to its line of Nintendo Selects: Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Tomodachi Life, Nintendogs + Cats , and Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins . Three new Wii U games have been added to the select line as well: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Nintendo Land, and Lego City Undercover . All of these games will be priced at $19.99 starting August 26.

Also arriving on August 26 is a nifty bundle for the regular-sized New 3DS. For $150 you can get a New 3DS, two cover plates, and a copy of Super Mario 3D Land which comes pre-installed. That bundle will only be available at Walmart and Target. Finally, starting September 9 a new line of amiibo and game bundles will be available. For $40 you’ll find Yoshi’s Woolly World pakced with a pink or blue Yarn Yoshi, Mario Party 10 packed with Peach or Bowser, and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker packed with Toad (not Captain Toad, more’s the pity). Of course the 2DS and Mario Kart 7 bundle is still available as well for $80.
