Nintendo To Hold Another 3DS Press Conference

Nintendo To Hold Another 3DS Press Conference

None

Last month, Nintendo threw together an impressive little press conference to show off some of their future plans for the 3DS. But it sounds like the attention-seeking developer has even more to say, because they’re planning another conference for this Friday.

The event will reportedly be dedicated to discussing November’s firmware update and Mario Kart 7’s wireless play support. I think we can all agree that firmware updates are typically boring, but any news about a Mario Kart title deserves a press conference of its own.

The portable console has been struggling ever since its release, and critics have been consistently frustrated by Nintendo’s apparent lack of enthusiasm for the device. But perhaps the newly lowered price, hardware upgrades, and the sum of all of Nintendo’s press conferences will bolster excitement.

The conference will be streamed live via Nintendo’s website and starts at 7am Eastern time. However, the entire thing will be in Japanese, so there’s probably no need for most of you to set your alarms. Just keep your browsers trained on Cheat Code Central. We’ll keep you updated, and we speak English.
