Nintendo will have 20 Games at PAX Prime

PAX Prime is this weekend, and Nintendo will be out in full force. The company is going to have 20 games at the event, with seven being major releases and 13 indie titles falling under the Nindies label. There’ll be a booth, panel, and even a gaming lounge at an adjacent hotel.

The Nintendo booth is where you’ll find the major releases. Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash , The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes , Skylanders SuperChargers Racing , Splatoon , Star Fox Zero , Super Mario Maker , and Super Smash Bros will all be playable. Xenoblade Chronicles X won’t, but there will be a panel about it at the Wyvern Theater at 2:30pm PT on August 29.

The remaining 13 games will only be playable at the Nindies lounge in the Sheraton Seattle Hotel. There, people can meet developers and play Action Henk , The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth , FAST Racing Neo , Freedom Planet , Hive Jump , Mutant Mudds Super Challenge , Oddworld: New n Tasty , Runbow , Shantae: Half Genie Hero , Shovel Knight: Plague fo Shadows , SteamWorld Heist , Typoman , and Year Walk . Nindies will also be featured at the Nindies@Night EMP Museum event at 8pm on August 27.

PAX Prime will also hold Pokemon Alpha Sapphire / Omega Ruby , Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate , and Super Smash Bros tournaments. These aren’t handled by Nintendo though, so check your event bulletins for details.
