No Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Demo

None

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds is one of the most anticipated games of 2011. However, fans eager to get some hands-on time will have to wait until its release, as Capcom has confirmed that there will not be a demo.

Recently, on the Capcom Unity forums, VP of Strategic Planning Christian Svensson stated to fans that “As with Street Fighter IV, there will be no demo of MvC3.”

THe went further to discuss the controversial decision to announce DLC for the game before its release. “DLC is part of the business model these days given the massive costs of production and can be the difference between a profitable product and an unprofitable product.” he last Elder Scrolls game, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, was released for PC and Xbox 360 in 2006 and was later ported to the PlayStation 3 in 2007.

Many gamers are offended by developers announcing DLC characters before the game’s launch, as they often assert that the characters could’ve been included on the game and preplanning to release them as DLC is a way to make extra money off consumers.
