Tired of only having two handheld gaming options? Panasonic is here to help! Panasonic is attempting to enter the video console fray with a new option, currently named “The Jungle.” So what will set The Jungle apart from other handhelds? According to its official website, The Jungle is a “new mobile device concept designed specifically for online gamers,” and will cater to the MMO crowd. Titles announced as compatible with The Jungle so far include Battlestar Galactica Online and RuneScape.  Although no hardware specs have been given, pictures of the The Jungle show a flip-top construction with a full button-based QWERTY keyboard. Will The Jungle be the next big thing in portable gaming, or the next N-Gage? We shall see. There is no release window for the device yet, but we’ll get you more information as it becomes available. |
