With the Switch presser coming later this month and so many console games getting PC ports, people have been asking if a lot of upcoming games could be multiplatform. For example, fans have been wondering if some Atlus games could venture beyond PlayStation platforms. To them, Atlus’ PR manager, John Hardin, has a very succinct answer regarding the possibility of Persona 5 and Yakuza 0 being on other systems. No.
Hardin spread the message on Twitter . He confirmed that Persona 5 will only be on the PlayStation 3 and 4, while Yakuza 0 will only be on the PlayStation 4. He then went on to say that neither game will come to the Switch or PC. That’s a definitive answer from someone in the know.
This doesn’t mean we won’t see Atlus Switch games. It is listed as a developer on Nintendo’s promotional materials, and Atlus has made quite a few 3DS and Wii U games. It just means we’ll probably see original games or new installments in existing series. Maybe we’ll even get a Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE sequel!
