Sega’s Publishing Atlus Games Now

Sega’s Publishing Atlus Games Now

Sega owns Atlus. This is an established fact. The acquisition of the developer has finally been completed now, and this means there’ll be a change for all future games. Sega will be publishing Atlus titles in North America, even though the two companies will be identified as different brands.

In the announcement, Sega also noted the progress that had come from the Atlus acquisition. Since the two joined forces, they have released 23 games. It also noted Atlus USA was responsible for getting Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F and Yakuza 5 localized.

Naturally, this will apply to Persona 5 , when it comes to the PlayStation 3 and 4 this year. It also probably has something to do with us getting Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X and 7th Dragon III Code: VFD. And hey, as long as we keep getting great games, that’s all that matters.
