Get Real With Virtual Diva Hatsune Miku

Get Real With Virtual Diva Hatsune Miku

I don’t really get vocaloids, but I’m just an old-fashioned rock ‘n’ roll gal who doesn’t even like autotune. Still, Japanese virtual diva Hatsune Miku and her catchy rhythm games have proven to be a cult hit even here in North America. Now Ms. Miku is taking on an extra dimension in Hatsune Miku VR Future Live , which launches on October 13, the same day as PSVR.

Or partially launches, at least. The game comes in three “stages,” the first of which comes out on that day. VR Future Live is less a game and more a virtual concert experience, allowing players to don their VR headset and be transported into a Hatsune Miku concert. You can hang out in the audience or even step on stage to see Miku’s performance up close and personal (presumably without the threat of being tackled by virtual bouncers). If you’d like a bit more interactivity, you can keep time with your PlayStation Move controllers, accessing various Easter eggs by doing so.

Below is the track list for the game’s first stage. Tracks and release dates for the other two stages have not yet been announced, but each stage will cost $15.
