The internet is about to get even more PewDiePie due to the upcoming release of a reality TV show called Scare PewDiePie.
The show, which will be available through Google’s new Youtube Red paid subscription service, is helmed by the creators and producers of The Walking Dead as well as the folks at Maker Studios. The shows premise will involve putting PewDiePie in real life situations that mirror some of his favorite horror games; a perfect fit for a YouTube star who frequently allows himself to be scared stupid on camera.
PewDiePie will see a good chunk of the show’s income coming his way, according to Chief Business officer, Robert Kyncl. With the new service, a vast majority of subscription revenue will be split among content creators based on viewship figures.
YouTube Red goes live October 28th, and will come with a Google Play Music subscription and ad-free video viewing for $9.99 a month.
