One of the weirdest new game concepts I’ve seen is Dreaming Sarah . Sarah, the main character, knows that she is in a coma. Searching for a way out of her coma, and perhaps curious about the inner reaches of her own mind, Sarah decides to traverse her mindscape and what she finds is rather terrifying.
Dreaming Sara has been inspired by Yume Nikki , which is a pretty screwed up game in its own right. The difference here is that Dreaming Sarah is a 2D game as opposed to Yume Nikki’s top down world. However, there are a lot of similarities. Sarah will find different items that give her different abilities and let her interact with different characters in new ways. Of course, many of these abilities just serve as further nightmare fuel.
