Pre-Order Fallout 4 for DOTA Announcers or Socks

Pre-Order Fallout 4 for DOTA Announcers or Socks

Don’t you love when games come with pre-order items that you’re not entirely sure you’d ever want or need? I recently bought Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden for the Nintendo 3DS because Amazon included an import, SNES Virtual Console 3DS eShop code unavailable anywhere else with it. Fallout 4 is getting those kinds of deals too. You’ll either get socks or DOTA 2 DLC with the game, depending on where you buy it.

Socks may not sound exciting, but don’t worry. These aren’t the ones your aunt probably picked up for you from the dollar store on the way to the annual holiday party. These are Vault Boy socks that come with the Best Buy $84.99 bundle. You get them along with a copy of Fallout 4 for the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One and its DLC season pass.

As useful as socks are, people who play a lot of DOTA 2 may find the Steam pre-order promotion a little more useful. An advance, $49.99, Fallout 4 purchase there gets you Mr. Handy as an announcer for the Valve MOBA. His DLC pack will arrive in the middle of November, and it hasn’t been revealed if it will ever be sold separately.

Fallout 4 is about two weeks away, as it comes to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on November 10.
