PSN Users Get An Early Revelation

None

In a press release issued today, Ubisoft announced that the third console title in the Ezio cycle—Assassin’s Creed Revelations—will have a multiplayer beta. They further revealed that this beta will be a PlayStation exclusive, available only to PlayStation Plus and Uplay members.

Running from September 3-11, the beta will allow players to take on nine different personae (Sentinel, Vanguard, Guardian, Vizier, Thespian, Deacon, Bombardier, Trickster, and Champion) on three maps in four different modes, which range from the typical deathmatch to “Artifact Assault.” As of yet, there is no word on whether Revelations will have an Xbox 360 beta to accompany its PlayStation 3 counterpart.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations promises to close out Ezio Auditore’s storyline, connect it firmly to that of Altaïr, and further the mystery plaguing series protagonist Desmond. It also intends to expand upon the multiplayer functionality of its predecessor, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, which provided one of the most unique multiplayer experiences available. Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be out November 15.
