Quantum Break Isn’t Picking up Steam

Quantum Break Isn’t Picking up Steam

Know what’s silly? When companies decide to only release games via one particular distributor. This usually only happens with PC games, as a company might decide only one place should host a title. Microsoft is a frequent offender, doing it again with Quantum Break . The game will only be on the Windows Store.

This information was relayed by Aaron Greenburg on Major Nelson’s podcast. When the Head of Xbox One Marketing appeared on the show, he said, “Quantum Break on Windows 10 is a Windows Store exclusive.” You’ll only find it there. Which sadly means no Steam Sale discounts or Trading Cards.

On the plus side, the Windows Store release will play nicely with the Xbox One version of the game. There will be cross-save compatibility. Also, any achievements earned on one platform will also be acquired on the other. It will be available on both the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs on April 5.
