A Microsoft PAX East Xbox One Contest Is Running This Weekend

A Microsoft PAX East Xbox One Contest Is Running This Weekend

Microsoft has a fantastic contest planned for April 21-24 to coincide with PAX East 2016. Fortunately, you don’t have to be at the con to participate. Anyone can opt in, thanks to the power of social media. Which is is great, because the prizes are pretty cool.

Here are the details. On or around April 28, Microsoft will pick one person to get the grand prize, an Xbox One and one custom Wireless Controller. Four other people will each also get one of the custom Xbox One controllers. Best of all, these controllers are the ones shown in the screenshot above and have designs inspired by Gears of War 4, IGN, Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, Overwatch, and Quantum Break.

Entering is easy. Once the contest begins, you can go on Twitter to retweet one of Microsoft’s official tweets or, if you’re at the event, tweet a picture of one of the controllers with the #XboxSweepstakes hashtag. People on Instagram can enter by making a post directed @Xbox with the same #XboxSweepstakes, also of a controller from the event. The Xbox Live Dashboard will have a PAX East Collectible Controllers Sweepstakes page where people can also enter.

Sure, a lot of people will be competing, but go ahead and give it a chance. You’re allowed one entry via Twitter, Instagram, and online, so make sure you log into every service.
