The folks over at Bethesda must be in a particularly generous mood today, because they’ve announced that they will be giving away copies of RAGE for iOS all week. The developer is celebrating the fact that RAGE (the upcoming big-budget version) has acquired over 100,000 fans on Facebook. Does this strike anyone else as being particularly odd? When a product is popular, don’t you usually increase the price? Obviously, Bethesda seems to have a different plan, and I’m certainly not going to argue with them. At least not until my download is done. The iOS version of RAGE is an “on rails” FPS that allows players to shoot mutants with a variety of guns. As a warning, though, just like its big brother, this game can get incredibly gory. Don’t play it in front of your grandmother if she has a heart condition. 
So, if you enjoy first-person shooters, murdering mutants, or just getting free stuff, grab RAGE or RAGE HD this week. And while you’re at it, go “like” all of Bethesda’s other games on Facebook. Let’s see what else they’ll give away. By Josh Engen |
