Renegade Ops was one of those little downloadable titles that sprung out of nowhere and demanded attention. Relentlessly action-packed and gifted with co-op gameplay, it’s a tempting treat for any gamer with a hankering for destruction and a couple of friends with similar appetites. When it was announced that the Steam release would come with the Half Life 2: Episode Two buggy/charger, complete with antlion special attack, I was sold. I pre-ordered a four-pack immediately, despite the PC version’s nebulous “September” release, and gifted copies to my friends.
Will the game unlock in time for Halloween, as promised? I’m no longer comfortable saying yes. By Shelby Reiches |
