Capcom has shed some light on three new multiplayer modes that will be available as downloadable content for Resident Evil 6 after the action horror game launches this fall. They’ll start out as timed-exclusives for the Xbox 360, with releases for PS3 and PC to follow later on.
Survivors Mode is a last-man-standing versus mode, but with an added twist that sees players respawn as an enemy character whenever they die.
Predator Mode puts one player in the shoes of the deadly “Ustanak” enemy, while all other players are tasked with either bringing it down or surviving until the end of the round.
Siege Mode, meanwhile, will see two teams each trying to protect their own NPC.
All three modes will support up to six players online, and will use maps from the game’s Mercenaries Mode.
Resident Evil 6 is out October 2 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a PC release to follow at a later date.
