Ridge Racer Vita Only Includes 5 Cars And 3 Tracks?

None

If you’re the type of person who plays Ridge Racer because you like to drive a diverse collection of cars, the upcoming Vita edition might not be the game for you. This week, a few members of the Japanese press got their hands on a copy and were disappointed to find that the game only included five cars and three courses.

When Ridge Racer Vita was announced, players were excited that the price point would be significantly lower than most Vita titles. But now it’s clear why.

Although, it seems strange that such a tiny game required two development studios to complete. Especially when you consider that all three of the courses (Harborline 765, Highland Cliffs, and Southbay Docks) have been included in previous titles.

Word on the street is that Ridge Racer Vita will have a steady stream of DLC after its release—much of which will reportedly be free—but no details about the release timing has been revealed yet.
