Rockstar Games Clarifies Details of Red Dead Redemption

None

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m really starting to get excited for Red Dead Redemption – cinematic, Wild West gameplay set in a Rockstar-developed open-world along with posse-style multiplayer – count me in!

Today, Rockstar went ahead and clarified a few details surrounding the game. For starters, multiplayer sessions can only hold up to 16 players, but 2-8 posses of different sizes (2-8 players) can get together.

Next, Red Dead Redemption will feature three difficulty settings (Casual, Normal, Expert) to ensure that gamers of varying skill levels will be able to enjoy the title. Casual players will get a “full auto-aim system” and “”faster regenerating health,” Normal mode features a snap-to reticule with analog stick micro-adjustment capabilities, and the Expert setting takes away all assists, implementing “free-aim with no lock-on at all.”

This is the first time Rockstar has incorporated multiple difficulty levels into an open-world game.
