Rockstar Offers L.A. Noire DLC Pass for $10

Rockstar Offers L.A. Noire DLC Pass for $10

In a gaming culture in which content is at a premium, expansions often sold piece-meal to those who have purchased the core product, Rockstar is taking an interesting approach with its newest title, L.A. Noire.

L.A. Noire is a game defined by its cases, self-contained stories in their own right that Rockstar has offered for download since day one. Now, though, the Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption company is offering what it calls a “Rockstar Pass,” an 800 point ($10) bundle that offers Xbox gamers immediate access to two premium cases, two in-game outfits and a “Badge Pursuit Challenge.” Access to this deal will be available to Playstation gamers after the Playstation Store relaunches later this week. Furthermore, purchasers of the pass will gain access to two additional cases, the “Nicholson Electroplating Disaster” and a “Reefer Madness” case on June 21 and July 12 respectively.

For reference, these DLC cost a combined total of $20 if purchased separately, which makes for a full 50% savings. If you wait, though, the price of the pass will go up to $12 on June 14, so it’s recommended that interested parties act quickly.
