Although we won’t see Bungie at this year’s E3, and they’ve been working pretty hard to keep their new projects a secret, a newly-filed trademark application may just shed some light on what Bungie’s team is up to.  The application refers to software known only as “Crimson,” describing it as “downloadable from a global computer network” and “for use on mobile and cellular phones.” This could mean that whatever game Bungie is developing will merely have a cell phone component. But perhaps they are nixing traditional consoles and will be just developing “Crimson” for the mobile platform. We’ve seen big developers like Epic Games and EA jump right on the mobile game bandwagon with original content, so it’s not like the idea would be too far-fetched… |
