RUMOR: Next Smash Bros. Title Leaked?

Gamepro recently leaked an interesting image to the web: It appears to be a Nintendo Wii U design document, and on it is a logo for a new game called “Super Smash Bros. Universe.” There’s an emphasis on the U in Universe to go along with the Wii U branding. Many of you may remember that Nintendo said they were working on a brand new Smash Bros. title for the Wii U and 3DS this year at E3, but that they couldn’t reveal any details about it. Could this be the next big title we were all waiting for? If this document is real, perhaps we might even see it as a Wii U launch title.



The rest of the writing on the document is too small to make out any details, and it’s all in Japanese anyway. So if you can speak the language and have some sort of CSI image-enhancing computer, give us a heads up about what is in store for Smash Bros.’ future. Remember, this is only rumor now, as Nintendo refuses to comment on the leaked document. The source of the document is Reddit, so take it with a grain of salt, but it certainly gives us something to think about.

We will bring you more updates on Smash Bros. Universe, or whatever the new Smash Bros for the Wii U will be called when details become available.
