Rumor Round-Up: Larger 360 HDD and BioShock 2 for PS3?

Rumor Round-Up: Larger 360 HDD and BioShock 2 for PS3?

None

There were a lot of rumors this week, but as of Friday only two that are worth mentioning remain unresolved. First, we’ll take a look at the hardware front. The dwindling supplies of Xbox 360s in your favorite box store could be due to a change in HDD specs. According to various sources, the Xbox 360’s 20GB hard drive is entirely insufficient. As such, it is rumored that Microsoft will be replacing the 20GB model with a larger 60GB model. Supposedly Microsoft will make the transition by the end of their fiscal year which is Q2 for you and me!

Second, publisher Take Two and developer 2K Marin are working on BioShock 2. This news broke on the 11 th and the very next day rumors began to spread. Due to the success of the original BioShock, early reports state that BioShock 2 will be coming out for more than just the Xbox 360 and PC. It seems likely that the sequel to the exclusive hit will also release on the PS3. None of this is confirmed, but we’ll keep you posted as hard facts are released. Check back next week as there is bound to be more gaming gossip!
