NAMCO Bandai has been good about building anticipation for its Soul Calibur V Comic-Con reveals. Shadowy images of new fighters, promises to reveal returning classics, even the early reveal of a brand new ninja, Natsu, who is apparently Taki’s disciple. It’s something of a shame, then, that some of the surprises have possibly been spoiled early by screenshot leaks. According to the screenshots, Ivy will be bringing her whip-sword antics and ample assets back into the fray. Already platinum-haired, Cervantes’ daughter appears to have aged nary a day in seventeen years, though whether that’s a function of plot or simply the anime-inspired character design is up for debate. 
Whether these leaked screenshots are legitimate is still up in the air, but Ivy and Zwei could very well be making appearances in SoulCalibur V. |
