If you believe random splatter marks, Reddit-borne conspiracy theories, and data mining, then Team Fortress 2 is getting a new update soon. For everyone else, this is still a rumor. The supposed “Mann VS. Machine” update actually introduces a third faction into the TF2 mix. Supposedly, the founders of the RED and BLU factions actually had a third sibling named Gray who was kidnapped shortly after his birth. According to rumor, hidden assets on the Team Fortress 2 website and within the game code show off gray robotic versions of the TF2 cast. Many fans believe that this could be an entirely new faction to play, however, you have to remember that Green and Yellow teams were also hidden in the TF2 code but were never implemented for gameplay functions.
