The optional, yet no-less-controversial, airport scene in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 that allows players to take out Russian civilians as terrorists has proved too off-color to remain on store shelves in Russia. According to a translated report from GotPS3.ru via Hellforge, all console copies of the game have been recalled by the Russian government and will be redistributed back to retail without the airport scene within the month. Also, Infinity Ward has released a patch for all PC versions (including via Steam) that deletes the content.
