Tribute Games, which is made up of many developers who worked on the Scott Pilgrim vs. the World game, are attempting to Kickstart a new game. That game is Mercenary Kings, a side-scrolling run-and-gun game in the vein of Contra and Metal Slug. But there is one big difference between Mercenary Kings and the classic 2D shooters of old. Mercenary Kings has a deep weapon customization system that allows you to craft weapons using parts you find lying around. Oh, and yes, the game will feature the bizarre pixel art stylings of Paul Robertson. 
Individual Kickstarter rewards include T-shirts, hoodies, beta access, and a copy of Wizorb, the company’s previous game. The T-shirts and hoodies will bear designs by Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley. By Angelo M. D’Argenio |
