The proverbial cat is out of the bag! According to PlayStation: The Official Magazine, via Joystiq, in a news feature called “Second to None,” it was revealed that inFAMOUS 2 is already well underway at SuckerPunch. So far along in fact that the game is set for release in 2010 alongside Batman: Arkham Asylum 2 and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. Hmm… that sounds like some pretty quick turnaround for these three games. While we don’t doubt all three are far along in their development cycle, we’re confident they won’t see the retail light of day until 2011. inFAMOUS 2 hasn’t even been announced by Sony yet! As a matter of fact, even in light of the story featured in the in-house publication, Sony will not confirm the inFAMOUS 2 news calling it, “rumor” and “speculation”. We’ll have to wait and see how this turns out, expect an E3 2010 showing.
