SNES Air Jordans Have Actual Controller Parts

SNES Air Jordans Have Actual Controller Parts

Remember those awesome Vans shoes that had all sorts of Nintendo designs? Well, there’s a designer shoe on the way that puts those to shame. Freaker Sneaks is going to release a limited edition sneaker inspired by the Super Nintendo. It’s an Air Jordan “Super Nintendo” IV.

The Air Jordan “Super Nintendo” IV is inspired by the European version of the Super Nintendo. The color scheme is all the same and there are Super Nintendo logos on the tongue. But the best part is the buttons. Each pair has an actual d-pad and four action buttons from the system’s controller on the back. Even better, you can actually press these buttons!

The Air Jordan “Super Nintendo” IVs aren’t available yet. We don’t know how much they’ll cost or how many pairs will be made. Freaker Sneaks’ FAQs says that pairs can range from $150-800. These will be available in early 2017, so keep an eye out if you’re a sneakerhead.
