If you were one of the people who purchased a SEGA CD back in the 90s, you most likely came to regret that decision. However, there to make you feel better when you needed it most was Sonic CD, one of the rare gems of the SEGA CD library. While Sonic CD introduced us to series mainstay Metal Sonic, Sonic’s sidekick Tails was nowhere to be found (besides a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo.) Well, Tails fans can finally stop thumbing their noses at this classic, as Sonic CD hits Xbox LIVE and iOS tomorrow and Tails has been added as an unlockable playable character. Apparently, he’ll even be able to use his trademark flying abilities. 
Also, PSN users don’t need to feel left out, as Sonic CD should hit PSN in Europe on December 14 and on December 20 in the States. Whether you have fond memories of this one or missed it completely, this is a must-play for all Sonic fans. In my opinion, this is Sonic at his very best. By Josh Wirtanen |
